Spotlights
The statistics are staggering - roughly 9% of the global population suffers from kidney disease, and developing novel therapies for kidney diseases has historically been challenging for a number of reasons. Chinook is revolutionizing kidney disease treatment by leveraging our increased understanding of the biological pathways and the acceptance of surrogate markers as registration endpoints by regulatory agencies. I feel very fortunate to contribute to the innovative work Chinook is doing, and am inspired daily by the bright, thoughtful and passionate individuals who are dedicated to improving the lives of patients with kidney diseases.
Noopur Liffick, VP, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications
